In an interview with Washington Times, President Donald Trump exclusively talked about his role as how the highest position in the country influenced his family life. He said, “There is no question, it is a big burden on the family.”
Trump also condemned the media houses for the way they reported of his family members, adding that his beautiful wife Melania Trump has been “terribly abused by the press.”
He said, “Really unfairly. She’s a high-quality person. She’s been amazing for the country.” The president also discussed about his 11-year-old son Barron who is staying in Trump Tower in New York City with his mom, until his school year is finished in summer.
Donald Trump said, “I have a son who’s a very young boy, he just turned 11.” He added, “He’ll be taken away from his school and be put into a brand new school. He likes playing on his soccer team in New York, they’re all of his friends, and you know he’ll be taken away from that team. We didn’t want to do it in the middle of a season.”
During the discussion, Trump also commented on an incident last week in which his eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, faced a vile audience during a women’s Summit in Germany after calling her father a “tremendous champion of supporting families.”
“I listened to that, and you had to listen pretty [carefully] — that was not booing like we all know it,” Trump said. “She gave an answer, and she’s cool. She can handle it.”
