Many of our nation’s presidents like Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have been lawyers, and George W. Bush had an MBA. America’s current president Donald Trump happens to be a media expert, and he knows a fraud when he sees one.
Earlier this year, Trump created waves among liberals and the “Never Trump” corner of Republicans when he called out liberal biased, sensationalistic news outlet CNN as being fake news. People were upset at Trump and thought he was just lashing out at them because they had covered him negatively. However, Fox News’ Neil Cavuto recently proved how phony they are by catching them in the act of cheating.
Republican Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska is part of the “Never Trump” pack, and he appeared this past Tuesday in a live interview on CNN. However, Cavuto noticed something very odd about this broadcast.
CNN’s Jake Tapper was speaking to Sasse at 4:45 pm in a conversation that was listed on screen as “live,” but at the exact same time, if you flipped the channel to C-SPAN 3, you could watch Sasse participating in the confirmation hearing for Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch.
Cavuto was quick to out CNN and Trump nemesis Sasse for this trick. Opined Cavuto, “That is one busy guy. He pops up and splits himself into multiple locations.” Once word got out, Twitter users commented how fraudulent CNN is. Said one user, “Proof @CNN #fakenews a live interview with senator sasse when he was asking #GorsuchHearing questions. #FakeNewsMedia.” Added another, “Either Ben Sasse Has A Time Machine, Or CNN Just Got Caught With Its Pants Down.” Do you think Cavuto conclusively proved that CNN is fake news?
